About

For years Facebook has been rife with scandals and bad decisions, including Cambridge Analytica, ignoring disinformation for profit, poor content moderation, and being investigated for antitrust concerns. Every bad decision Facebook makes affects our lives — because the online world doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and there are real-world consequences to Facebook’s irresponsibility.

We decided enough is enough.

Kairos is an organization that is building a multi-racial movement to hold tech accountable. Our work is centered on racial justice and building a working democracy. We campaign and organize to ensure that technology and the internet are not used to uphold systemic injustice and undermine democracy. We do this by holding corporations accountable to communities of color and empowering supporters to see that they hold the means to bring about change.
